L’Ampolla is situated on the coast, it boasts a fabulous marina with many restaurants where you can sample all the local dishes. This area is famous for it’s rice produce, so the local paella is delicious. For families with children Porta Ventura is only 30 minutes away. It is one of Europe’s largest theme parks with many new rides added every year, it offers something for everyone. Miravet is also a tourist attraction, there is a medieval castle which you can explore, the views are amazing. You can find everything in our town. The sea, the land and the river create landscapes so diverse that the Mediterranean pears enviously over the Bay of Fangar, contemplating the visions that each new day brings. Just like the bay, the edges between one feature and another blend together…. in fact, who can really say where the sea, the river or the land, or even you and I, begin or end? Most beaches are blue flag and safe for families, most of them have life guards. There is also many traditional festivals all through the year that are not to be missed. For bird watchers it is paradise there are many unusual species that live on the delta. This area has something to offer everyone!!
